“Bipolar disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a category of mood disorders defined by the presence of one or more episodes of abnormally elevated mood clinically referred to as mania or, if milder, hypomania. Individuals who experience manic episodes also commonly experience depressive episodes or symptoms, or mixed episodes in which features of both mania and depression are present at the same time. These episodes are usually separated by periods of “normal” mood, but in some individuals, depression and mania may rapidly alternate, known as rapid cycling. Extreme manic episodes can sometimes lead to psychoticsymptoms such as delusions and hallucinations. The disorder has been subdivided into bipolar I, bipolar II,cyclothymia and other types, based on the nature and severity of mood episodes experienced; the range is often described as the bipolar spectrum.”

Well I think I just went bipolar… no not that disorder!

Hexagon filled with Dharmalites

limited Edition Bipolar CD

Yes, im bipolar

Me and my girlfriend Cecilia just went last Friday, October 24, 2008 to the Up Dharma Down’s Bipolar Album Launch at Hexagon Lounge, RCBC Plaza to witness and experience Up Dharma Down latest serving of their soulful and unique flavor of sensations in their new album.

Los on Guits

Ean on Drums and Beats

Paul on Bass and Armi on Vox n’ Keyboards

It is also our 4th year anniversary… well belated anniversary. 😀

We got the Limited Edition CD with the On The Either Side Documentary in it.

After a few hours of waiting for the band to play and had us glimpse of what they cooked in almost 3 years in making a follow up album. Its nice to see them live and feel their music first-hand. Their sound became even more better, with their ecstatic rhythm and soulful melody of the vocals of Armi, and the thing I liked about them, even from their first album is the way Los riffs his Guitar also beat and rhythm that Ean and Paul delivers in their sets. The Band had blend more on their musical background and a more different feeling arises after every song. As I sum up that musical experience as “Orgasmic“.

of course after the gig… we had our CDs signed and also our picture taken from our LORES camera phones. hehe

It was a blast and we hope to hear more from the band.

The next day as I bum around at home, i watched the bonus documentary CD ” On Either Side” and somehow understands more about the band and how the Bipolar sounds to be…

as quoted “I don’t  want to change just to be loved”

I’m currently listening to it and as far… I’m enjoying it. Current fave is Clockwork, Every First Second and Taya.

More power yay!!
